NHS Scotland is offering 2 doses of the coronavirus vaccine to all children aged 5 to 11 years. Children aged 5 to 11 will be offered a second dose of the vaccine from 12 weeks after their first dose."  This information is stated in their documentation:

However , I note that:

"COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 is not recommended for children under 12 years."

to clarify the position of Scotggov / NHS Scotland, please provide the following information:

  1. A list of all vaccines for covid-19 available in UK but NOT approved for use by NHS Scotland for children under 12 year of age
  2. A list of all vaccines for covid19 approved for use by NHS Scotland for children under 12 year of age
  3. A quantitative risk assessment or similar detailed verification demonstrating that the vaccines (if any) approved for use in children under 12 years of age are safe and effective and that the risks associated with vaccination are clearly and substantially less than the risks associated with covid-19 in that age group.
