“I am writing to request a record of national NHS propranolol prescription rates in all NHS trusts across Public Health Scotland. Please could this be broken down into each regional health board. If it is possible to include how this medication is prescribed (via GP, hospital, in-patient facility etc that would be most helpful).”
I would also like to request a record of all antidepressant medication prescriptions (SSRIs, SNRIs etc.) in all NHS trusts across Public Health Scotland. Please could this be broken down into each regional health board. If it is possible to include how this medication is prescribed (via GP, hospital, in-patient facility etc that would be most helpful).
I wish to have an electronic data set of these prescription rates for as many years as the data goes back to (at least ten years ideally), the number of patients who have been prescribed the medication, the drug variety and at what dose.
I would like the data to show all ages and genders of NHS patients from the age of 12, broken down into five-year age gaps (e.g 12-17, 18-23, 24-29 and so on).
I am seeking data covering all Scottish prescribing data available, to understand change over time in propranolol and antidepressant prescriptions in hospitals and community prescribing.
If it is possible to include whether propranolol and antidepressants have been prescribed for anxiety please may this be included.
Data provided in total quantities at the BNF presentation level would also be most helpful for this request. ”
