“I am writing to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
As you will be aware, Monday 15 June 2026 has been designated a national bank holiday in Scotland to mark Scotland's participation in the FIFA World Cup. I am seeking information about the impact this bank holiday will have on NHS Tayside's ability to deliver services on that date.
1. How many operations and surgical procedures will not take place in NHS Tayside on 15 June 2026 as a direct result of the bank holiday?
2. How many GP appointments will not take place in the NHS Tayside area on 15 June 2026 as a direct result of the bank holiday?
3. How many outpatient clinic appointments will not take place in NHS Tayside on 15 June 2026 as a direct result of the bank holiday?
