“In the above guidance, it is said:
The Scottish Government is the owner of this guidance. The management of guidance and approval of revisions is the responsibility of the Scottish Government. The Scottish Government is also responsible for reviewing the performance of Health Boards, ensuring standards within this guidance are being met, and that waiting lists are being managed effectively.
Public Health Scotland have responsibility for the collection, quality assurance, analysis and reporting of national data on waiting times collected through the national WTs warehouse
In the context provided by Scottish government guidance in Waiting Times and in terms of the provisions of the Freedom of Information [Scotland] Act 2002, I write to ask that Public Health Scotland [PHS] provides me with the following information.
- In gathering data for the Waiting Times [Outpatient and Inpatient] warehouse, can PHS confirm which of the following protected characteristics set out in the Equality Act 2010 are gathered on patients/service users and uploaded from the Waiting Times [WT] warehouse:”
