“My client travelled to Bulgaria in June 2024. On return to the UK he was diagnosed with legionnaires’ disease and it is believed that the source of the infection was the hotel in which he stayed.

Time period to check: June 2023 to June 2025
Please could you advise me as to whether any cases of Legionnaires’ disease in guests at this hotel have been notified to Public Health Scotland.”
