“…I would like to request all information held pertaining to the health effects from a mould species called Baudoinia compniacensis or commonly known as 'Whisky Fungus' or 'Distillery Fungus'. This is the black fungus found to blight buildings and areas near distilleries, bonded warehouses and alcohol storage facilities throughout Scotland and other countries around the world.
I was made aware by a Professor of Microbiology that there has been research done by the Scottish Government / NHS / PHS but never published publicly.”
