“I am making a freedom of information request for the following information:
- The number of women currently waiting for this procedure [uterine artery
embolization] for each of the respective health boards and how many of those are urgent cases.
- The waiting time for each of the health boards as a routine patient and as
an urgent patient.
- Edinburgh radiology is currently having an issue with obtaining theatres to
carry out these procedures. What exactly is being done to increase the number of theatres available to radiology and what steps are being taken to enable women on waiting lists affected to be seen by other health boards.
I am looking for this information to raise these matters with my MP and MSP.”
