“Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, please provide the following from SMR01 (general acute inpatient and day case records), for Scotland, for financial years 2015/16 to 2025/26 (or the latest complete year available).

Please count stays or discharges, on whichever basis PHS normally reports, and tell me which you used. The diagnosis should be in the main condition (primary) position.

1. The annual number with ICD-10 T18.5 (Foreign body in anus and rectum), by sex and by age band: 0-14, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-59, 60+.

2. The same for ICD-10 T19.2 (Foreign body in vulva and vagina), by year, sex and age band.

3. The annual number with T18.5 by NHS Board of residence. If small numbers make this disclosive, please give it for 2015/16 to 2025/26 combined.

4. The annual number with T18.5 by month of admission. If that is disclosive, please give it for all years combined (12 figures).

5. For the T18.5 stays in Part 1, the number per year where:
   (a) the main operation was OPCS-4 H44.1 (Manual removal of foreign body from rectum);
   (b) any operation was T30 (Opening of abdomen);
   (c) any operation was an excision of the colon or rectum (OPCS-4 categories H04-H11 or H33) or a stoma or bypass (H13-H15 or G74).

6. Total bed days and mean length of stay for T18.5, per year.”
