“At the Scottish COVID-19 inquiry 21st October 2026 former Director of PHS Nick Phin stated in the relation to recording COVID-19 deaths;

''the initial definition of dying within 28 days of a positive test.'' -

It is my understanding that recording COVID-19 deaths within 28 days of a positive test was never changed by PHS throughout the pandemic.

1-Is that correct?

2-If the definition was changed when did this occur and to what?”
