“I would like a breakdown of the number of patients who are on NHS waiting lists for the following orthopaedic procedures: a hip arthroplasty, a hip revision, a knee arthroplasty and a knee revision (these are the definitions used in Public Health Scotland's Scottish Arthroplasty Project report).
As such, can I request the following, for the financial years 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and the most recent data for 2023/24:
- the total number of referrals for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- the total number of patients currently waiting for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision.
- the total number of patients waiting over 52 weeks for a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- the total number of patients waiting over 78 weeksfor a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision
- the total number of patients waiting over 104 weeksfor a a) hip arthroplasty, b) hip revision, c) knee arthroplasty and d) knee revision.”
