“1. The total number of referrals for percutaneous Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure that originated from NHS Highland and were sent to any performing centre in Scotland (primarily Golden Jubilee National Hospital and/or NHS Lothian).
– Ideally broken down by calendar or financial year (e.g., 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 to date).
– If yearly breakdown is not readily available, a single total figure for the entire period is acceptable.
- If available, the number of these referrals that were subsequently accepted and resulted in a PFO closure procedure being performed.”
