Public Health Scotland Board Member appointments

Public Health Scotland is recruiting three new members to join our Board.

Our Board members have a vital role in guiding the strategies to support our overall aim – to increase healthy life expectancy and to reduce health inequality in Scotland through collaborative leadership, making prevention practical, equity visible, and progress measurable. 

Applications are invited from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service and improving the health of the population. 

A drop-in information session will be taking place for interested applicants with the PHS Board Chair and the Chief Executive on 17 November 2025 at 17:30, via MS Teams. We would ask that anyone wishing to attend to register their interest by emailing phs.governance@phs.scot before 15 December 2025.
