PSL are named individuals who support the application of the PST within:

• Scottish local authorities
•  national, regional, or local organisations

This is part of an overall approach to place-based working.

A PSL acts as an ambassador in encouraging others to do likewise.

The role of a Place Standard Lead is to:

• act as key contact for place standard related matters within their organisation for local services and national partners
• promote place-based working throughout their organisation
• represent their organisation at place & wellbeing alliance meetings
• represent their organisation at place standard lead meetings
• maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of place standard developments
• identify place-based training needs within your organisation and share with the place standard leads coordinator
