1. Employer
This dimension helps organisations assess how they use their role as employers to support fair work, widen access to employment and improve outcomes for local people.
The 'Employer' dimension focuses on how organisations can
- use workforce data to understand whether the workforce reflects the local community
- make recruitment fair, inclusive and accessible
- provide fair work, including good pay, secure employment, effective voice and support for wellbeing
- support training, development and progression for staff at all levels
- work with local partners to deliver employment and employability opportunities

To assess your organisation against this dimension, download the progression tracker and full Anchors Progression Framework.
Organisations planning to use the Anchors Progression Framework are encouraged to contact the team by emailing PHS.anchors@phs.scot.
This will help Public Health Scotland understand how the framework is being used and identify any further support or improvements.
