4. Becoming an exemplar anchor institution
This dimension helps organisations assess how far anchor action is embedded in leadership, strategy, culture, partnerships, decision-making and resource allocation.
'Becoming an exemplar anchor institution' focuses on how organisations can:
- embed anchor action into organisational leadership, governance and strategy
- reflect anchor commitments in values, culture, communications and corporate documents
- consider how financial assets and resources can support local, social and community benefit
- build strong partnerships with communities and other anchor institutions
- share knowledge, data, resources and expertise with local organisations
- collaborate and share learning beyond the local area
