Description
This paper examines how existing public health duties in Scotland align with the proposed duties in the forthcoming Scottish Human Rights Bill. Using the planning and budgeting responsibilities under the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 as an example, it highlights areas of alignment and divergence. The paper offers a practical resource to support strategic planning for the implementation of the right to health.
