Description

Employment is an important determinant of population health and health inequalities.

PHS carried out policy mapping and analysis of the Fair Work-related policies in Scotland to identify the likely impact on:

  • fair work outcomes at a population level, and
  • inequalities in access to fair work.

The Scottish Government has placed significant policy attention on promoting fair work in Scotland's labour market. The aim of this work is to provide useful insights on how to maximise the population level impact of Fair Work policies.
