Updates

All forthcoming outputs will be published at 09:30am unless otherwise stated.

National Respiratory Infection and COVID-19 Statistics - Between 01 June and 05 October 2023, PHS has moved to dashboard only updates for this release and are reducing the frequency of the accompanying narrative report. This approach aligns to the pre-pandemic one for respiratory pathogens, which typically follow a seasonal pattern with most cases occurring between October and May. PHS will continue to monitor COVID-19 and other respiratory infection levels and reinstate the weekly narrative report before 05 October 2023 if necessary. A written report will accompany the dashboard update on 22 June, 20 July, 17 August, 31 August and 14 September 2023.

Prescribing Statistics - Monthly Prescribing Activity Data - Previously preannounced for 29 August, this publication was first delayed until 26 September, and has now been delayed until 10 October due to delays to the underlying data becoming available.

Vaping Related Hospital Admissions - This publication, preannounced for release on 25 July, will focus on hospital admissions where ICD-10 code U0.70 has been recorded as a primary or secondary diagnosis. To enable further analyses this publication will be delayed until November 2023

Scottish Intensive Care Society Audit Group Report on COVID-19 - previously preannounced for 08 August 2023, was entered in error.  There will be no report this year.

Out of Hours Primary Care Services in Scotland - This publication, preannounced for release on 26 September 2023, has been delayed until 14 November 2023 due to a delay in the data provider sending in some historical data submissions.
