Description
Module 6 of the UK COVID-19 Public Inquiry examines the impact of the pandemic on the care sector across the UK, including the policies, decision-making and support provided by the UK Government and Devolved Administrations.
Counsel representing Public Health Scotland (PHS) submitted this opening statement to the Inquiry on 12 June, outlining PHS’s role in relation to the care sector in Scotland and setting out our continuing commitment to supporting the Inquiry.
The Module 6 public hearing takes place between 30 June 2025 and 31 July 2025.
