Description
This waiting times calculation document explains how the waiting time is calculated in the waiting times data mart.
It details the rules for calculating the wait and incorporates the most recent waiting times calculation changes (effective from 1 April 2014).
The document guides how to derive the wait based on the component parts and factors required to do this.
It includes scenarios to demonstrate the waiting times calculation rules for the component factors, such as:
- different types of unavailability
- non-attendance categories
- longer waiters
