Description
This guidance provides a background and overview to the system of measuring waiting times that was adopted nationally from 1 January 2008
The waiting times recording manual covers:
- the stage of treatment standard for new outpatients
- the treatment time guarantee (TTG) for inpatients and day cases
- the 18 weeks referral to treatment standard
It can be used for reference for the national waiting times data mart and provides recording information and rules for the generic data items submitted to the data mart.
