This project was carried out by MECOPP (Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project) and was commissioned by Public Health Scotland and the Scottish Government.

It aimed to investigate the Gypsy/Traveller communities’ views of vaccination information resources (COVID-19 and influenza) to ensure Gypsy/Travellers have equitable access to appropriate health information to support health and wellbeing.

We provide recommendations for public health professionals and policy-makers. It is hoped these findings will encourage the review of current processes for working with and tailoring resources for Gypsy/Travellers.

This report should be read alongside 'Working with Gypsy/Traveller communities: a good practice guide'.
