The CHI Linkage and Indexing (CHILI) team is part of the Data and Digital Innovation directorate.  The team provides services using information from the Community Health Index (CHI) database.

Information about the prescribing, dispensing and reimbursement of medicines and appliances on primary care NHS prescriptions

National reference files

Access to the data files used in the validation of patient-based data returns from NHS boards and health and social care operational systems

Prescribing data

Information about key prescribing data such as PRISMS, Hospital Medicines Utilisation Database (HMUD) and more

System Watch

Monitors and predicts urgent and emergency care service pressures

Discovery

Provides comparative healthcare information for quality improvement, benchmarking and performance management across NHS Scotland
